Sunday March 29 Palm Sunday 8 & 10 am

Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem is re-created. His arrest and trial are also re-imagined as we enter into the mysteries of the week.

10 am service begins in the Common Room for the blessing of palms and procession into Church.

Wednesday April 1 A Time for Contemplative Prayer 6pm

Eucharist from Reserved Sacraments

A Service of Tenebrae 7 pm

The gradual extinguishing of candles and darkening of the Church

while a series of scripture passages are read. This service reminds us of the sad abandonment that Jesus experienced in his last days

Thursday April 2 Maundy Thursday Eucharist 7pm

Foot Washing and Stripping of the Altar

This service commemorates Jesus’ last night, his final two commandments – “do this in remembrance of me” and “serve one another” – as well as the next day when his body was prepared for burial

Friday April 3 Walking the Stations of the Cross noon

45-minute service with walking meditations on the 14 Stations following the route Jesus walked from his prison to the Cross

Good Friday Liturgy with Veneration of 7pm

Candlelight Vigil-turned-Easter celebration with Eucharist
